I noticed that the guider function would regularly have to retry to capture from the guider. This coincided with the download of the main CCD image - via StellarMate Wifi. This could knock the guiding out for 20-30 seconds or more. Once, I believe it was responsible for stopping the guiding. For now, I've turned on compression for all images but haven't actually tried it - to late last night.
So this brings me to a question. I know I can keep images locally or remotely but what I really want is for them to stay on the camera - during a imaging session. This would alleviate the problem above. I surely don't want to leave the photos on the remote unit - like StellarMate, which I would like to treat as strictly a service.
