Hi All,
Since this is my first post here I would start with a great “thank you” to the developper(s) of Indi and Ekos. You are doing a really great job and after many years I finally can and will leave the windows platform for astrophotograpy.
At the moment I'm running Kubuntu 15.04 (x86), INDI 1.1.0 and Kstars 2.3.0.
I had (or have) issues with KDE in combination of the NVIDIA graphics adaptor. Crashes of Ekos are still present and therefore I would like to know if KDE is really a requirement for running Ekos.
Can anyone clarify if it is possible to run Ekos without the (buggy) KDE interface?
Thanks in advance,
--Gerard
